The Software Platform Team's mission is to simplify software development and increase developer agility by creating tools and processes which enable novel uses of vehicles without compromising safety. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about designing and building the next generation of software to enable developers to quickly and safely develop and deploy code to vehicles.


  • Lead our team's "functional safety" efforts for automotive middleware development
  • Plan, coordinate and track all activities related to the ISO 26262, in all relevant phases of an Agile developed project
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the successful product safety assessment and certification.


  • Excellent communication and people engagement skills
  • Engineering degree in software, electrical or control systems
  • Standards in the automotive industry (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262)
  • At least five years of experience in coordinating ISO26262 functional safety activities for software development
  • Excellent knowledge about safety engineering, safety processes and safety
  • Experience with software development (C/C++)


  • Experience with Real-Time Embedded / Automotive software development (C, C++)
  • Proven record of successful completion of ISO26262 product certification processes
  • Knowledge of modern system languages (RUST)
  • Familiar with designing and analyzing fault tolerant systems
  • Familiar with modern development tools (Containerization, CI/CD, etc.)
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure and tools
