The Renovations Team Lead will oversee teams of Renovations Project Managers and Estimators. The role requires a diverse set of skills to continuously improve our repair quality and efficiency by supporting the Head of Renovations and facilitating communication across various teams and departments. The team will leverage the Renovations Lead’s organizational skills, attention to detail, and decision-making strengths to enhance Opendoor’s already exceptional product, taking it to the next level.
The Renovations Lead will be assigned multiple pairings of Estimators and Project Managers by city region. In each region, you will be responsible for:

Responsible for setting goals for their team and monitoring progress
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to improve performance
Managing the day-to-day operations
Cross lane problem solving
Overall accuracy of repair/reno scopes(renovation and repair overruns)
Sourcing, training, and maintaining vendor relationships
Interviewing, hiring, and training new Estimators and Project Managers
Conducting field quality control checks to ensure a high quality delivery of product
Conducting weekly portfolio reviews with each Project Manager
Conducting weekly scope audits with each Estimator
Ensuring all team tasks are being completed on-time
The Renovations Lead will also be responsible for these Key Metrics in their region:

Renovation and Repair Costs and Overruns
Average number of days from acquiring a property to listing the property
Resale repair/credit costs
Home Quality
