Mortgages at Opendoor

This year, Opendoor launched Opendoor Mortgage, a mortgage brokerage that allows Opendoor customers to quickly and painlessly obtain a mortgage to finance their dream home. By working closely with the Opendoor Sales teams, Opendoor Mortgage can make applying for and closing on a loan easier than ever.

As a member of the Mortgages team, you would be a part of a growing team building an exciting new product at Opendoor.
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will:

Educate and advise customers on loan programs
Collect and analyze customers financial data
Select loans in alignment with customer needs
Analyze current rates and programs to provide accurate and timely information to customers
Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with customers
Provide quality service and support throughout the loan process for customers
Research and stay aware of trends and developments in local real estate and mortgages
Conduct business in conformance with state and federal regulations
Manage a “pod” of one processor and two subprocessors
Answer questions for customers and Opendoor Labs counterparts
Work closely with other team members to raise their level of knowledge in a structured manner (e.g. laying out steps for a tooling roadmap)
