As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

Consistently represent the Company in a professional manner, with customer service being a top priority, on the phone and in person

Answer all telephone calls in a professional manner, screen and direct the call to the appropriate person or take a message and deliver to the appropriate party

Greet clients entering organization and direct them to correct destination

Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness

Deal with queries from the public and customers

Provide general administrative and clerical support, such as filing, photocopying. Collating, faxing etc.

Receive and sort mail and deliveries

Organize conference and meeting room bookings

Co-ordinate meetings and organize catering

Watering plants

Tidy and maintain the reception area

Ensure office is fully supplied and order supplies when needed

Monitor and maintain office equipment


Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities

Proficient with Google applications

Professional appearance

Solid communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure

High school degree
