Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Software Test Engineer in our downtown Santa Barbara office. This opportunity will afford a lot of exposure to a variety of technological components at a quickly growing company in the exciting world of consumer electronics. Looking for passionate individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of fast paced releases with important company implications.

As a Software Test Engineer your role will be pivotal to the development of our quality assurance processes in addition to working on a new and exciting product.

This position's responsibilities include:

Work directly with developers to identify and correct software defects
Testing hardware devices integrated with iOS and Android
Contributions to the development of integration and automation testing
Planning, design and implementation of dev and release testing plans
Work with fellow engineers and managers on furthering the QA process
Degree in computer science or equivalent
Background in designing or extending existing test frameworks
Experience in QA for software applications, preferably mobile applications
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of object oriented concepts or bluetooth peripheral/central relationships
Experience with UI and functionality automation is a plus
Scripting skills with Python is a plus.
